It was 24 degrees this morning. The air was cold and crisp. No snow yet, so all the skiers are patiently waiting. Boreal is making snow... I don't how well that really works. I suppose it helps build a deeper base so when the real snow falls, the real snow can stick to the ground.....yadda yadda yadda. Listen to me. Like really know what I am talking about. Like I really care about skiing conditions. All I know is that the air was cold this morning. The meadow was white with frost. For a brief moment I visioned a beach with white sand. Then I opened the door....that dream was shattered. No sand. Just frozen grass.

Below are some pics of a Bobcat. He was hunting in the meadow. I snuck out to the fence and hid behind some tall grass. I made some noises that, I thought, sounded like a squirrel. The cat then stalked me. I know...I know... probably not the smartest thing to do. At first I thought it was cool. Then it hit me. What is he going to think when he finds me instead of a squirrel? Well.... he kind of blew me off. Like he knew all along it wasn't a squirrel. He didn't run away. He just kind of walked...cool like. He wasn't afraid of me or my fake squirrel noises. At on point, the only thing between he and i was the fence. He was about two feet from me. Anyways..... I thought i would share the pics with you.

Stay Safe.

ps. Toaka says... "Yeah, Yeah, Yeah...I see the big cat. Dad....What's a shrimpin'? Can I eat one?"
