Christmas is coming in...
14 more days

Good morning.

One last trailer to winterize before the storms hit. It takes about 2 hours for 2 people to shrink wrap the roof.  It helps keep the snow from piling up. I don't think this next predicted storm will do much, but once you get a little snow on the roof your done. It's hard to walk around on ice....on the roof. Anyways....that's what is on the agenda for the day.

Yesterday I bought some new christmas tree lights. I got the new LED style. They use a lot less electricity. I thought...ok...we can make our tree save energy....do our part. I put the lights on the tree, plugged them in......oh my god. These things are so ugly. They have an LED blue tint to them. They just don't have that sparkle that the older lights have.  So, if you are buying lights for your tree....stick to the older style. Buck up... spend the extra money on electricity. You will have a prettier tree.

That's all for today.

ps. Toaka says..."Hey dad...those lights look blue...reminds me of?..??....???....of a blue berry pie....yeah....that's the ticket... a piece of blueberry pie."

Dennis,

You're absolutely correct. The lights might be perfect for a Hanukkah bush but for a Christmas Tree - It has a purple glow. We are going out to buy new ones tomorrow morning!
