Not a lot going right now.
Locally, everybody is gearing up for the big 4th of July Celebration. The fireworks show will be held on the night of July 3rd. There are several events planned throughout the weekend. There seems to be more of the Civil War re-enactments planned. Of course, there will be the parade. Graeagle Fire will hold their annual pancake breakfast on Sunday, July 5th. All and all.... it will be a very crowded week-end.

With the economy doing what it's doing, I thought there might be less visitors to Graeagle this year. So far, it seems we have had even more. I spoke with a local business person, she said that business was good.

Fire season is ... Oh so close. The temperature is warming up. There is a lot of grass that is drying out. When fires do start, they are growing faster. As summer sets in, they will be more difficult to stop.

Mexico is being hit with the first named tropical storm of the year. It is on the Pacific side of Mexico.

We cooked it.... then forgot to serve up the apple sauce.
