Knight- CA-STF-002207 Fire is 275 acres, 0% containment. Evacuation of Mount Knight started yesterday. Dozer line construction along the ridge of the Middle Fork of the Stanislaus River continued in support of firing operations to protect the community (approximately 30 homes). Johnsons Type 2 team has been ordered.

Last year one of our Labs...Darjee... was diagnosed with breast cancer. The doctor performed a mastectomy. We had hopes of getting all the cancer. That is not what happened. The cancer has returned. We found that Darjee has developed multiple tumors in her lungs. We have devoted our efforts at making her comfortable. Her time to go is drawing closer. We will miss her dearly. Darjee gave us three wonderful children....Maverick, Noor, and Mira. Darjee was never in a hurry to do anything. She was almost always the last one in the door....the last one to return from a walk...you get the pic. Darjee was....well...she was Darjee. She had her own way of participating.
