CA-LNF-Hat Creek Complex - 8,558 acres 15 percent contained.The Sugarloaf Fire exhibited extreme fire behavior late in the afternoon and made a significant run to the north and east. Evacuations are in place for the communities of Old Station and the Rancheria Travel Park as well as associated Forest Service and private campgrounds. Highway 89 remains closed to all traffic except for residents between Highway 44 and Highway 299, the extreme eastern portion of Highway 44 has been closed due to spread of the Sugarloaf Fire. P.G. & E power lines adjacent to Highways 89 and 44 are threatened, and have incurred some damage. Power and communication lines are threatened as well as the Western Power Transmission Lines. 318 PG & E customers are without service in the Sugarloaf fire area.
