The weather dude is saying the winds are going to blow. The temps are supposed to get hot again. This fire is not completely put to bed. We'll see if it wakes up and moves again. Talking to the guys with a lot of fire experience, they think this thing is not over yet. Who knows? Only Mother Nature can tell.

Camp is slowing down. Very few people in camp during the day. Night brings more patients needing rehab and supplies. The crews are mostly working rehab and repair, near the roads, so Poison Oak cases have dwindled.

On this incident we have treated a very broad variety of issues. Two women were foun
d to be pregnant....one happy....one not so happy. Both went home. One guy was sent home with a probable STD....not so happy. Several Yucca Thorns were removed. A guy split his big toe in half with a Pulaski. A guy broke his finger...I think goofing around. We saw a few Poison Oak cases that were horrific. One guy had Poison Oak so severe, he got admitted to the hospital for pain management. I lost count of the sprained knees and ankles. So far we have been able to treat 235 patients here in camp instead of sending them to an emergency room. So far, the total treated at Frontline is over 14,000. We have distributed over 38,000 items. We have used about 12 pounds of coffee (we now need a new coffee maker). We have distributed over 24,000 ounces of Gold Bond Powder.....3743 doses of cold medicine.....over 20,000 ounces of Tecnu Poison Oak cleanser....over 500 tubes of Zanfel Poison Oak Treatment....whew!....the totals continue to rise.

We send a big thank you to all of our families. Thank you for your support.

Yesterday, I placed a video on this blog. I hope you all enjoy it. Watch it close. Listen to the
song. Pray for our fallen brothers.

Have a great day.
