Tuesday (first day of Fall) brings So Cal a moderate offshore wind event. Red flags posted.
AREAS OF NORTHEAST WINDS 20 TO 30 MPH WITH LOCAL GUSTS TO 45 MPH WILL DEVELOP LATE MONDAY NIGHT INTO TUESDAY THROUGH FAVORED PASSES AND CANYONS...WITH LIGHTER OFFSHORE WIND SPEEDS EXPECTED TUESDAY NIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY.
This will be the first "Santa Ana's" of the season. Strike teams of engines and personnel are staged throughout the state.
The Station Fire is very quiet today. It looks like we've put this one astern. We will see if it stays asleep with the winds. If it does we will be home very soon. If it doesn't, the show will start all over again.
