RAIN!
And let me tell you about rain. It rained steady most of the day. We had to get at least 3" of rain. The pond level rose at least 12". It is now flowing over the spillway. It came in steady and slow, so most of the water soaked into the ground. There wasn't a lot of run off. None of the creeks are flowing....none of the culverts filled up.

The wind blew really hard as well. There several gusts that reached the 50mph mark. I'm not sure if we lost any trees. We'll find out this morning when we go outside and look around.

Unlike the Sacramento area, we kept our power all day and all night.

Last night we made homemade chicken and noodles. It was a nice warmy dormy thing to eat during a storm. Watched them get rid of the fighter dude on Dancing with the Stars.

Have a great day.

ps. Toaka says....."Oh gosh....I got a piece of chicken and a couple of big homemade noodles!"
