Winter is definitely here. The temperature was 0 degrees this morning. There is a cold front moving into the area, so the wind is blowing. I'm not sure what the wind chill factor is. I just know it is COLD!! It is supposed to snow later today. The weather dudes say up to 20-30 inches. I hate snow.
Last night the community Christmas tree lit up the park. Just like the year before....and the year before that.....and so on.
The Holiday Season is underway. We still need to get a tree for the house. I have an artificial tree with lights already on it. We might "Go Green" and save another tree, and just set up the fake tree. We'll see. I'm sure Brogue won't care what kind of tree we set up..... anything closer than 2' to the floor....well... belongs to him, just ask him.
As Christmas approaches, I look forward to egg nog, gingerbread this and that, candied walnuts, and all the other treats that Christmas brings. I look forward to a warm fire....listening to music.
Sooo..... with that said, I am off to the local bakery. I think a bear claw is in order. My French Roast Latte is a little lonely this morning. A warm, buttery, Bear Claw will cure this.
