Not a cloud in the sky today!! Grass is sprouting!! Birds are singing!! You'd think spring was here. "Nay Nay" says The Weather Dude. He says it is supposed to snow tomorrow. ??? Snow??? Tomorrow?? We'll just wait and see. Today we will enjoy the sunshine.
Fire season is inching closer. I was asked yesterday what I thought. So.... I rubbed my Magic Genie Lamp and found this out. Fire season will start sometime after May 3rd. It will end sometime before December 12th. There will be fires in both Northern and Southern California during this period. One of the fires in Northern California will burn for at least three days. One of the fires in Southern California will burn for at least five days. The morning briefings will begin at 0600am. At least 37 firefighters will be plagued with Poison Oak. Two of these fire fighters will tough it out and not use any medications. The Magic Lamp says... one crew will refuse to shower, one crew will shower only when they leave the fire. There will be a compliance rate of approximately 53% for hand-washing before a meal is eaten. And finally..... at least one person will decide to go to work at Home Depot, instead of enduring another fire season. I will ask the Magic Lamp about the upcoming hurricane season, and let ya'll know what the Magic Lamp says.
The Oscars will be awarded tonight. They say "Hurt Locker" and "Avatar" are the two favorites for Best Picture. I hope Hurt Locker gets it. Avatar is mostly animated. At least Hurt Locker is real.
