Snow and Ice. Oh yeah...WATER. That's what I awoke to last week. It seems a water main had ruptured right in the middle of the front yard. "No problem".... so I thought. I could just switch the house back onto the well. I will dig the yard up when it is warmer. No such luck. It seems the pump also decided to break. So....the only option....dig. I spent most of the day yesterday.....digging, swimming in mud, and shoveling mud back into the hole. In the middle of all of that....I repaired the pipe with a $6 coupler. WOO HOO!!! WATER!!! We are back in the modern world....running water and all.
I'm still waiting for Frontline Folks to email me their 2012 intentions.
