HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!!

Can you believe it? There is a fire in the Ishi Wilderness, on the Lassen National Forest!!

I flew over Mount Lassen last week. There is little to no snow. All of the lakes appear to be at critically low levels. This lack of precipitation may mean a very busy fire season.  If the precipitation does not happen, we will be gearing up for an early season.
