"Floating Barge Camps" have been temporarily suspended by the US Coast Guard. It seems, the barges are not certified transport vessels. They are designed to haul cargo...not people. They are meeting to work through this little set back.
BP placed a "top hat" cap onto the well. They are able to pump some of the oil up to the surface...but nothing close to the amount coming out of the well.
President Obama was in the Gulf yesterday. He questioned BP of their spending on add campaigns while "nickeling and diming" the locals and the fishermen.
The wheels of progress are chugging along very slowly. More proposals were solicited, more proposals were sent to Alabama yesterday. I was told they were very busy and they would contact me when they know something.
So..... we still wait.
